"Joseph helped us buy our first home. We closed the purchase in March 2022. Our home is in a great location, closed within our initial budget, and checks the boxes we were looking for in a home. Joseph is excellent. Before meeting Joseph we had met with another highly rated San Francisco real estate agent who, after hearing our budget and what we wanted in a home, was very dismissive about our chances of buying in certain neighborhoods. In contrast, Joseph encouraged us to stay attentive to the market and to stay optimistic. This other agent was also very assertive in our conversations, often cutting us off and not listening to us. Again, Joseph was refreshingly different. He listened to us and was attentive to our needs and desires. Finally, this other agent told us to do house tours on our own and to call her when we were ready to put in an offer. As first-time home buyers, we needed more support when touring homes so that we could learn what to look for and think about as we walked through. Joseph provided that support. When we were concerned about COVID, Joseph did virtual tours with us. When we went out in person, Joseph was with us every step of the way. Joseph also knows the San Francisco market well. We had friends going through the home-buying process at the same time as us, and they became frustrated with their first real estate agent because he would provide inaccurate forecasts about what houses would eventually sell for so their bids were far off the mark. Joseph, in contrast, put us in a position to buy the homes that we bid on, either as the top bidders or high enough to be given a counteroffer opportunity. Relatedly, Joseph also provided good guidance on when we could include conditions on our offers. While most of our offers were non-contingent, we did make one offer with an inspection contingency on his recommendation. It was good advice because the other top offer also included an inspection contingency. Beyond all this, Joseph is friendly and responsive. Look no further for a helping hand when buying a home!"
